Another of Vrindavan temples is the Banke Bihari Mandir, which is a Hindu temple, is dedicated to Lord Krishna, in the holy city of Vrindavan, in the district of Mathura,  is a temple Vrindavan that is named the Banke, was originally Nadhivana where he was worshipped. The deities do walk up until 9am, through a belief that Banke Bihari has been awake all night sporting. Only a day annually can the lotus feet of the Deity be seen. In autumn full moon is when the deity holds the flute which is the only day, and also on the same day where a particular Mukut. From his alter Banke Bihari comes and seen in clarity on the last five days of the month of the Phalguna that is during the holy festival. He can be seen having four gopis, which are seen, just at this time.

The Vrindavan temple is opened at 9am and later closed at 1pm. Then again is opened at 5pm and later closed at 9pm after Shayan Arti. 

Many well known annual festivals are organized and celebrated with a terrific show and pomp in this temple time after time. Hariyali Teej is the chief annual festivals. It is a festival of the rainy season when the idol of Lord Bankey Bihari join with Gopis, which is placed on the special swing of silver and gold that is moved to and fro.
